Our session is fundamentally different from theirs. For starters we packed up and left it for the new session. Perhaps by doing so we bypassed the game mechanic that would prevent you from continuing to live. After all, you were able to leave our session without any problems.
I know. The way we've played our session to this point is unprecedented - though I suppose there may be sessions we know nothing about that were played prior to the ones we do know of, thus the possibility of our session being unprecedented may be nothing more than conjecture. Which stands to reason your assumption that you will cease to exist when we finish the new session may be as based on conjecture as any other assumption or believed inevitability that any of us may have in regards to the game.
